His style being reminiscent of the Congolese sapeurs, Loux — a self-proclaimed hipster — aims to put African fashion into the spotlight by collecting and designing retro clothing and documenting it in beautiful photographs on his tumblr. He’s currently collaborating with Khumbula — a group of stylists and designers from Johannesburg — on what they call ‘LIA (Love is African)’ and next on the agenda is a showcase of his designs at RVK (Retro Vintage Kollection) Fashion Week in Pretoria, South Africa, his own fashion show in Namibia and another showcase at the AFF (Africa Fashion Festival) in Ghana.
