Shield is touring South Africa, looking to uncover the best of the best Urban Dancers. Get your friends and join us at one of the DO:DANCE Roadshows. Impress the judges with your expression of the Shield Extreme Dance Move and you could be flown to the world’s biggest demonstration of street dance – The New York World of Dance Tour.

The World of Dance Tour is the biggest street dance event on the globe with celebrity performances, razor-sharp choreography and breath-taking moves. The best dancers from around the world come together for an explosion of high-energy, adrenaline infused performances – an opportunity to represent in New York only comes around once in a lifetime, so take it.

Two Door Cinema Club was a Best Live Band nominee at the upcoming NME Awards. Since releasing their debut album ‘Tourist History’ in March 2010, they have rapidly become one of the biggest new success stories in UK music. They have sold out headline tours in the UK, US, Europe, Australia, Asia, Japan and South America. On two successive nights Two Door Cinema Club sold out the UK’s Shepherds Bush Empire and Brixton Academy in under four hours. The band has deservedly earned both a devoted word of mouth and live following as well as huge critical acclaim.

Formed in Helsingborg in 1999, The Sounds have compared to bands such as Blondie, The Cars and Epoxies. With the recent launch of their latest album, Something To Die For, in March this year, the high energy tracks and catchy riffs will have you bouncing up and down like a kid on a trampoline.

The album was independently produced and released by SideOneDummy Records. Receiving rave reviews and gaining notice in Tinseltown, two of the albums tracks have been featured in the blockbuster, Scream 4, and have appeared on the motion picture soundtrack. While the album is their fourth and by far the best, their live performances truly showcase their originality.

One could hardly believe such big vocals could come out of such a petite singer, as the lead singer, Maja Ivarsson, bounces around the stage, the frenetic energy is equalled only by the crowd, who are a seething mass of bodies writhing to the sounds. The eccentric mix of vocals, guitar and keyboards produce a sound that simply must be experienced live.
