Completely infected by his energy and passion for bass, we caught up with Cape Town-based drum ’n bass DJ – Niskerone – to chat about his love for the music and the respect he has for other local DJ’s. Length: 08:00
 
Mark’s beats can really only be appreciated 100% when one sees him play live – which is why we headed to The Assembly and The Waiting Room to witness his d ‘n b up close.

From Cape Town to Jo’burg and London to Barcelona – Niskerone’s live sets move small and large crowds alike. The guy who started the now-famous It Came from the Jungle parties, Mark Stevens has shared the stage with top artists including David Guetta, Rusko, Boys Noize, Steve Aoki and many others.

According to the Urban Dictionary: “Crazy White Bitches, containing some ghetto ass girls! CV Illie representing! You may betta watch out for Crazy white bitches!” Cape Town; meet the Crazy White Bitches.

Faulty vibes aside, Crazy White Bitches is a ‘collaborative clothing sale that happens every few weeks in Cape Town.’ The girls’ are strutting the streets for you, shopping their asses off for hard-to-find clothes, shoes and accessories at affordable prices.  Worried you might only wear the item once? Well, the CWB thought of that too and have made a selection of garments available to rent!

I think we can aspect a hell lot more of these Crazy White Bitches. It’s a great initiative which brings Capetonians fresh fashion and a breath of new creativity. The most important thing is that they enjoy fashion and are not taking themselves too serious. That’s reflected in their fashion shoots, their perfect shoot includes lots of costumes, hot dresses and beers!! Fun guaranteed!

Their next sale will be on the 5th of November at The Waiting Room, and all clothes will be for sale, plus loads more swimming costumes, dresses, shoes, crop-tops, and everything else essential for a hot Summer.
