Celebrating it’s tenth year in operation and boasting growth from 8000 attendees to an expected 80 000 this year, Rage 4U is by far the biggest youth centered festival of the year. The sheer amount of artists, events and parties that will take place in it’s two week run is enough to make just about anybody excited. Taking place between the 25th November and the 10th December, Rage 4U promises memories, new friends, an experience of a lifetime and more freedom to pursue a good time than you can imagine.

For the last ten years, the summer break tradition for South African youths has been to head to Durban for the Vodacom Rage 4U festival. Taking place in Plettenberg Bay,Umhlanga, Ballito and Durban, this year sees more artists, more venues and more ‘Ragers’ than ever before. From the Parlotones to Jax Panik to Gareth Cliff, your musical tastebuds will be fulfilled while the adrenaline junkies will have stunt planes, bungie swings and extreme surf vibes.

About the event, hosts G&G Productions have promised to deliver the event that party-goers have been looking for. Greg Walsh, the managing director had this to say about Vodacom Rage 4U, “Rage is about reaching out to our fans, listening to what they want and then delivering back the largest, loudest and most engaging event experience of their lives.”

Vodacom 4U Rage Festival powered by BlackBerry will feature headline performances; DJs and live acts including Goodluck, Zebra & Giraffe and Prime Circle, who will be showcasing themselves on Monday 28 November; while Lonehill Estate, Jack Parow, Locnville and Goldfish will be performing on Monday 5 December. Of course there will be many more spectacular acts, including big names like Roger Goode, DJ Fresh, Euphonik, Erica Elle, Pascal & Pearce and DJ Milkshake.
