The Samsung and Apple war isn’t a new phenomenon anymore so it didn’t took long for Samsung to react after Apple announced two new smartphones at a media event. Samsung is taking aim with a series of new videos promoting its new Galaxy Note 4. Apple fans are being mocked for waiting on the new iphone 6…with a bigger screen. A BIGGER SCREEN!!!! Not that revolutionary, says Samsung.

And now even Ikea, Scandinavian Furniture Company, have made an Apple parody with their recent catalogue commercial. As chief Jorgen Eghammer explains in the spot,

“It’s not a digital book or an e-book. It’s a Bookbook.”

In Mexico the plant that tequila is made of is known as agave tequila and here in South Africa scientists would refer to it as agave sisalana. The plant, which grows wild pretty much everywhere in the world, is not only responsible for our best party moments, but has a second purpose: you can make surfboards out of its harvest! Hauswork and SHE will be hosting an all-female line-up of artists that reflect the diversity and finesse of women across South Africa and beyond. Taking place at Fiction in Cape Town, both guys and girls are invited to join the celebrations from 22h00 until 04h00. Headlining the FEMBOTS event is the much-acclaimed Marcela Ospina – the Colombian-born, Joburg DJ that has been impressing with her intense dancefloor-suited style of techno.
