Having launched a page on kickstart, where members of the public can fund creative projects, there are 56 hours left on the clock and with $ 11, 720 raised already of the $15, 000 needed, the journey is almost at an end. &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; &#160; Last year we featured the photographic collection as onesmallseed.net and looked at the idea behind the Bicycle Portraits, their objective to look at who rides bicycles, why thy ride them and how the project gave people a glimpse into each others lives at onesmallseed.com. The Bicycle portraits look at individuals through a well known object of movement, the bicycle, and goes one step further in creating discussion around charged issues such as implementation of public space, lack of infrastructure development and still brings strangers together with the love of a simple thing. With 144 backers behind them, Stan Engelbrecht and Nic Grobler have combined their images from the Bicycle Portraits with unique watercolor maps in 3 books.
