Everybody Street is a documentary by photographer and documentarian Cheryl Dunn that pays homage to one of the most culturally and visually stimulating cities — the sometimes mean but always mighty New York City. Being a drawcard for impulsive adventurers from across the globe and rich in history as well as forward-thinking movements, the vibrant city has of course developed an animated streetlife. It thus seems natural for Dunn to focus on those who, through immersing themselves in the cold and colourful happenings, let this life live on through their lens. Everybody Street features New York’s best-known street photographers, such as Bruce Davidson, Jill Freedman, Joel Meyerowitz and Mary Ellen Mark, who have been documenting the city for years.
