Many a Capetonian may have come across the run down yet beautifully mysterious white washed house that has the words ‘San Remo Guesthouse’ written on its walls in Krynauw Street, Gardens. Situated in the hip hub of the Mother City, it seemed about time that it ceased being a crack house and went back to being something more welcoming. That’s why efforts are being made to return its state to what the description promises: a guesthouse. To get things going, an exhibition opened there on October 18th. Here are pictures of some of the treasures we found in the abandoned mansion.
