Ladies and Gentlemen, Guitar, Bass and Drums… It’s V.I.P time once again. Clothing brand Ben Sherman are introducing Ben Sherman’s Very Important Plectrums (V.I.P); an online auction of plectrums donated by iconic artists with all proceeds going to charity.

The lineup’s confirmed, the auctions have started, and now Ben Sherman’s needs your support to help raise vital funds for our charitable partners Trekstock and Lifebeat! With plectrums from the likes of Coldplay, Band of Horses and The Kooks currently up for grabs, there is surely something for every music lover and certainly plenty to talk about! The plectrums are signed and majestically framed.

The piece de resistance, a unique Gibson SG customised by the legendary Philippe Dubreullie, will be up for auction starting the 9th of June. The SG is one of the world’s most iconic guitars, gracing the stage in the arms of Keith Richards and Paul Weller, amongst many others, this truly exceptional piece has been beautifully transformed into a stunning and fully playable work of art.

With eBay as the auction platform and over 40 stores across the world promoting the campaign, VIP is very much global news. Having launched with events in London, Berlin and New York with headliners Mos Def, The Riffles and Talib Kweli, queues were around the block and the response from both public and industry has been phenomenal.
